His words may be true but all of his 'powerhouse' cities have been the lowest economic performers in the US. There is no evidence to support his creative cities and the attraction of the creative class as a reason for them to perform. I think cities should take his idea with a pinch of salt and mix it up with other forms of urban regeneration ideas
